Paso 4: El barnizado
Este es el resultado final. Aunque no puedes olvidarte de un último paso una vez tienes todo el suelo estampado. A continuación, debes dejar que esté bien seco, por ejemplo, dejándolo toda una noche, y después toca barnizar con el acabado que más te guste: mate, satinado o brillo.
En este caso María se decanta por un barniz base agua de Vintro, porque “no amarillea al tener un filtro UV, además su secado es muy rápido, y su acabado es muy resistente”. Hay que aplicar dos capas bien con rodillo o con brocha plana. ¡Un truco! “Si la primera mano la aplicas de izquierda a derecha, en horizontal; la segunda hazlo de arriba abajo, en vertical. De esta manera te aseguras de que no van a quedar poros sin barniz y de que la protección va a ser perfecta”, prosigue la experta.
El barniz también está formulado para exterior, lo que permite pintar con chalk paint hasta el suelo de la terraza. Y no solo eso, si te apetece también puedes hacerlo en cuartos de baño y cocinas, con este estupendo resultado.
